PROGRAM GOALS

RAMA Observership Program is designed to provide a strong clinical experience in the American clinical system as well as an in-depth look into the way American hospitals are organized and function.

The program is now active in Cleveland, OH at the University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic, LakeHealth System and MetroHealth Medical Center. Here are some doctors who went through our program:

Doctors who are in the process of obtaining their residency positions will greatly benefit from this training.Observers who wish to upgrade their clinical and educational skills in a particular specialty will be matched with a medical professional who will serve as their mentor during their observer training in hospitals of Cleveland. Observers can also expect to communicate with their American and Russian American colleagues and enjoy spending a several weeks in our medical partners’ facilities. Patient contact is prohibited for an observer.

All hospitals we work with have international reputation for interdisciplinary coordination of education, research, diagnosis and treatment.

One of the important benefits this program offers is establishing important relationships between RAMA, its allies and medical institutions overseas. We believe that initiating such international collaborations, exchanging knowledge and developing and maintaining relationships with our colleagues from the countries of the former SU will improve quality of healthcare, in other words, save lives.
