Twinge of tooth ache signifies problem with your tooth is the general erroneous belief. On the contrary it is the siren of infected pulp. Infection causes inflammation of the pulp such condition is called Pulpitis. Damage starts its debut with the outer hard cover of teeth the only symptom testifying so is the visible sight of damage. When this is overlooked the damage perpetuates to further damage or decay the pulp of the tooth.
Victim won’t be able to know this progress as they don’t see this but once pulp is affected pain builds up which is related to as tooth ache. This also is a reminder that the pulp is no longer protected from pathogens which is again a clear reminder that things will aggravate. As when the blood supply is cut off to the pulp, bacteria have an opportunity to overtake the pulp.
Tooth ache develops as inflamed pressure due to infection develops, exerting pressure on the nerve of the tooth and the surrounding tissues. Which is why as this pressure increases it gets difficult to figure out the victim tooth?
Depending on the severity of the inflammation pain can be mild or intense and so are the chances of reviving the tooth. Cut off from any soft tissue even the lymph the only destination of pulpitis is pulp death. In such cases the irritant has done all it had to do so removal of irritant won’t help. Since the pulp is irreversibly damaged it’s endodontically treated keeping intact the left over tooth structure. Another a treatment is extraction of tooth.
But timely action can do the difference of changing irreversible damage to reversible. And to reverse it all needed is to remove the irritant.
Keep the vitality of your teeth. Never mind if you go unmindful about pulpitis but can you be unmindful about the subsequent tooth ache.
