We need to discuss this also.

Every year R-AMA's National Conference has to update our by-laws and vote on this update. I know it is very boring but is a necessary evil. We just have to do this. At this point by-laws is a pretty short document - 7 pages only.

Please, find time to read through it - http://www.russiandoctors.org/about.shtml - and send us you suggestions and corrections. The person working on the document is Julia Frantsuzov, MD - she is the Head of the Membership and By-laws Committee and a BOD member. If you want to write to her directly, the e-mail is in the list of R-AMA members on the front page.

It is very important :!: :!: :!:

The Association will have to vote on an amended by-laws in June. The Board will discuss the draft on June 9th during a special meeting. Vote will be held by e-mail. I will post the draft here on the Forum and will send the text to each member before the vote.

Very important!!!

Tomorrow the Board of Directors will discuss the changes and amendments to R-AMA governing documents. We spent 2 months preparing them. Both - the Amended Articles of Incorporation and the Code of Regulations will be posted here tomorrow and sent to each member of R-AMA for discussion.

All members will have to read them - it is 7 pages of pretty dry language, but it is important that you read the text at least once. If you have suggestions and additions, they can be submitted to the BOD until the 15th of June. After all corrections will be made the by-laws will be presented to each member for a vote. A simple majority vote will accept or reject the changes. If they are accepted, we will submit the documents to the state.
